A typical noise problem of ONE OFF unit of automotive starter motor is investigated to find the root cause of the problem. The approach combines typical noise / vibration tests along with sound quality tools to exactly identify the type of noise and its most possible kinematic sequence of occurance.

Both NV dynamics and the customer are delighed with this novel approach and the solution offered, for NV Dynamics it is a win over as the customer has prefferred us over the their existing consultants, reasons being apparent.
