NV Dynamics was contracted by UCSL to conduct noise and vibration assessments on their newly built 3800 DWT general cargo vessel named WILSON ECO 3. The scope of the project involved performing onboard noise measurements at the harbour and during sea trials and conducting vibration assessments only during sea trials in both habitability and machinery spaces in compliance with relevant noise and vibration standards for ships.

NV Dynamics was hired by M/s. Adishakti associates to undertake traffic noise assessments and façade STC recommendation for Casa Del, an upcoming residential apartment in Worli, Mumbai. Type-1 grade noise loggers were used to record and monitor the noise over a period of 3 days at two representative heights of the building. Based on the outcome of the results, façade rating and configuration was recommended to the client.

Environmental Management & Policy Research Institute (EMPRI) hired NV Dynamics to conduct 24-hour continuous vibration assessments of the ongoing metro construction activities along the Bangalore Airport road, to assess its impact on the structural integrity of the Chikkajala Fort located in close proximity to the construction activities. Vibration assessment was carried out using ultra-low frequency transducers mounted in two mutually perpendicular directions at 4 identified locations. The recorded data was then processed and the results were compared with the prescribed limits as per DIN 4150-3.
