NV Dynamics was commissioned by M/s. Ace Designers to conduct a detailed ground-borne vibration assessment at their Minnapura plant in Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru. The study was prompted by plans to establish a new machine shop facility on the premises — one intended to house vibration-sensitive equipment. A key concern is a nearby foundry that periodically conducts shakeout operations, generating ground vibrations that could potentially affect the precision equipment planned for the new facility.
To evaluate the existing vibration levels a detailed assessment was carried out at ten (10) selected locations by the client. Data was recorded in three orthogonal directions using ultra-low frequency vibration transducers mounted on metal piles embedded in hard ground. These sensors were connected to a multi-channel data acquisition system that continuously captured vibration signals during both ambient conditions and active shakeout events.
The recorded acceleration data was processed using advanced signal analysis techniques to determine vibration levels and dynamic characteristics. Findings from the study provided a clear understanding of the existing vibration environment and its suitability for precision equipment installations. The results, along with key observations and recommendations, were compiled into a comprehensive report and submitted to the client.
